赏析：这首描写唐明皇（玄宗李隆基）与杨贵妃（杨玉环719-756）爱情故事的叙事诗，以喜剧始，以悲剧终。诗人含蓄地批判其政治之腐败，极力地讴歌其爱情之忠诚。杨贵妃“宛转蛾眉马前死“后，诗人对明皇和杨贵妃更为同情。全诗从杨玉环入宫以生离死别的记叙，直至明皇神游仙境思念贵妃，都写得有声有色，富于情韵，音节流畅，感情深沉，语言珠圆玉润，情节震撼人心，因而千载以下，传诵至今。
